Slimming World - Take Two - Week 10 - 14

I've said it time and time again, these weeks fly by. I'm finding it pretty good that this isn't such a battle anymore, the time slips by so it really does push you to make the most of every day and every meal. Again, I've lost 5lbs this month, which to be honest I'm pretty chuffed with seeing as April was a very busy month for me - I was out in London, girlie drinks and Chinese buffet, a meal out with El, Noah's birthday AND my birthday! But as well as that I've had a couple of non scale victories which I will share with you further down..

I'm the head chef in our house - despite Chris being a chef by trade, our kitchen is my kitchen. I totally understand the fact he doesn't particularly fancy cooking when he's been shipping out meals for 8/11 hours, near enough every day. In all honesty, it doesn't bother me too much as it gives me free reign over the meals and I can cook what fits well with the plan and also that they'll enjoy too! As previous, here's a few snaps of my meals over the last 4 weeks..

We've got to a point where there's so many lovely meals that we've written a list. Simply, so that each week  it's a little easier to choose - without fail there's always a soup on there which is handy to have leftovers for a quick lunch!

Since my birthday has gone, my biggest focus is getting my 2 stone loss which is 4lbs away! I've been 100% on plan and continue to throughout May till 24th (as I'm away in Manchester for 2 days).
You may remember when I brought this green jacket from Primark in my last update and I was really surprised at buying a size 16 jacket as well as an 18 top - fast forwarding a month and that jacket now fits up! Admittedly it does look a bit tight  for a 16 jacket but I'll get there. It was a big moment realising that it actually did up - it was definitely a defining moment where I realised how far I've come in such a short time. I've nearly lost 2 stone in just over 3 months, purely from eating better.

Excuse my messy mirror, but during week 13 I had a sudden urge to do some Zumba (which lets face it - was a big deal!) I used to do around 2 hours a week of Zumba the last time I did Slimming World and it really showed, my muscles were more defined and my belly wasn't as podgy.
It's something I want to regain this time around, for good. I have a deadline coming up so I won't be able to do it as much as I hope to but as soon as that's over I'm hoping to do some 3x a week again :)
Small steps in the right direction!
