Slimming World - Take Two - Week 1-5

I can't believe 5 weeks have gone by already. It's gone so quick, and being honest - I feel so much better than I did when I last updated you. As you may have read I've lost a total of a stone since we last spoke which I'm so thrilled about!

This time around seems to have gone really well. I feel at ease with the whole plan, I only eat when I'm hungry and have been feeling more comfortable in my clothes, things don't feel as tight at they once did and my mood has improved. For lent I decided to give up takeaways - we weren't big on ordering but it has been there on the sideline as a back up plan for those lazy times. By taking it out of grasps it does mean we can't use it and is saving us some money!
That doesn't mean we haven't been eating though, quite the opposite. I feel like I eat all the time, as I'm always prepping for the next meal (we have a fussy eater too!) - it's been quite the journey.

If you're not already, I've set up a Slimming World Instagram, do feel free to follow. I post often my meals and my prep, basically anything this side of my Journey. I find it really helps me keep focused, I can see what I've eaten and how much. It often reminds me how many syns I've had as sometimes I forget (I'm a mum, it's filled with loads of random stuff!).

I've have 4 'cheat' meals since starting on take two and I think it shows how rubbish I used to eat, picking and making pointless choices. I've found that I try and keep my snacks for the evening, whilst watching TV or blogging - that's the time I end up having wandering fingers so fruit and my HeB (usually Alpen Light bars or Weetabix Cake (usually only at the weekend - feels such a treat!)) usually come out then.
We meal plan for the week on Wednesday's. Every Sunday I have Stirfry (Stirfry Sunday!), it's become a little routine that I've kept up. I love a Stirfry and I look forward to it every week. A soup usually ends up on the menu, Butternut Squash is currently my favourite.

I've brought some new goods this month that I have seen floating around on the SW Instagrams - that community is freakin' amazing and supportive. I love looking for inspo and chatting to some of the others on, wooping on our losses and understanding on our maintains and gains. Choc Shot and Heck Sausages - both amazing and low in syns. They taste so lovely and are going to become firm favourites in my diet!

Trying out some goals for this month, maybe they'll help keep me on track and even more determined. I don't feel like I'm wanting to fall off the wagon at all.. It's really not much of a 'diet' I seem really comfortable where I am and I'm enjoying seeing the number go down on the scale. I've put a goal of losing 7lbs this next month which I think will be very achievable - we'll see!

If you have any questions, don't be scared to ask! I can't wait to see what the next month brings!
