WELCOME to, My Desk Corner!

I've been daydreaming of my desk area for what seems months. Casually thinking of how I'd kit it out and just visualising a really lovely space where I could spend my time as a Blogger but foremost as a new Student.

A few weeks ago we started decorating the two bedrooms, the boys have a 'space' room (I'll show you soon) and I knew I wanted neutral because we have two double windows in our bedroom so allowing for a lot of natural light; I'd be able to create the bedroom I've been dreaming of for a long time.

All I knew once I started planning for this desk was 'light' I wanted it to be a bright area that didn't cloud my mind but freshen it up. I wanted a blank canvas with pops of colour. And I think I have achieved it in a minimal way.

I'd love to be able to expand my wall pieces in future - I have plenty of ideas with what's on my Etsy Print Wishlist. I hope it'll slowly grow. It's definitely become a place I want to hang out - It feels lovely to have that space being used for a purpose rather than just being there taking space up - it inspires me to do more projects with the house because this didn't take long and it looks so different, it's surprising what a paint facelift and a few chosen pieces can do.

  1. What a lovely space!! I think it's so important to have a dedicated space to work in — it definitely puts you in the right frame of mind doesn't it? Love the use of Washi tape too ;) Thanks so much for linking up to #HomeEtc
