Holiday Reading List

By the time you're reading this, I'll already be on my Holiday to Wales.
We're off to South Wales for 9 days hopefully and it's a fairly secluded village we're staying in (we've a neighbour but we're surrounded by fields and the nearest village is 3 miles away). The house doesn't have WiFi, nor does it own a TV and whilst so many will be GASP - I was ruddy excited! Know why?

Because it means I will undoubtedly spend more time with my whole family and it'll really strip my days back and I can't think of anything better. I spend most of my time online in one form or another and I do notice how much it dominates my life, so when my Mum brought it up I was looking forward to it instantly. Board games and genuine chatter is going to take over.
It'll be time to focus on other things than what's happening on my social media feed. I'm taking my camera (I'm going to be such a happy snapper!) and I'm taking a couple of books. I think I'll be more than okay. It'll be a very welcomed change, I want to see what else I can learn about being offline for over a week! I feel a future blog post coming on..

So I'm taking some books, I thought I'd be adventurous and safe at the same time by taking two. I have two young boys and I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes.. I may read both of them, or I might not, but at least they're there. I'm sure there will be time in the evening and the odd afternoon where I'll be able to read for a while, chapter by chapter..
I'm loving reading at the moment and I love the drive in me to throw myself into them and absorb all the words.
Above are the two I've chosen to take away with me, they seem very chick flicky and I think they'll be lovely holiday reads, I'm really looking forward to reading them (I recently did a book haul on a few books - these included - which I've added below if you fancy a watch!).

What would you take with you if you were going to be without Internet for 9 days?
