Lazy

This week has been so lazy.
Chris has been on holiday and we've ended up not doing much at all. We've chilled at home just being ordinary and quite boring, only really venturing out to the library, Tesco's and my grandparents house for the day.
But it's been lovely.
I've been able to catch up with my reading and actually not needing to do a lot as there's two pairs of hands to help with chores, so done in half the time. But, I've felt so lazy. I've felt like I haven't achieved much this week and I think that's okay. I've read 2 books, and I'm pretty chuffed with that.
We've baked and to be honest, probably eaten way too much food. Chris being off has given him some time to get a little creative in the kitchen for our lunches which has been a welcome treat!

Blogging has been on the back burner this week as Hubby has taken over the laptop at times, meaning it's been difficult planning any posts - but equally it's nice to have a break. It's doesn't seem like it's just his holiday but the whole house; which is very much needed, especially as we're off on our hols at the start of August.
We've a much busier day today as it's Teddy Bears Picnic (in which Freddie has chosen Daddy to go!) and I'm off to the cinema and food with my sister tonight as well as taking my brother to his 6th form prom, before heading to the Village Fete tomorrow!
Maybe, it's just as well we've had a lazy week... ;)

  3. I often find that when my husband is on holiday we end up being lazy with our time, too!
But sometimes it is just lovely to relax and do very little, esp knowing you have a hectic weekend ahead

    1. Yes, we're exactly the same unless we've set tasks to do, we don't do much apart from sit around together, but it's lovely to have that time to be able to do so! X
