I can't believe it's been a year. Today.
A year ago, I made that decision to start recording our memories in the form of this blog.
I'm just so glad that I stuck to it. It's been so much fun writing every post - I often look back on the posts that I wrote at the start, well, all along and it makes me genuinely smile that it's there, I wouldn't remember all them little details - hell, I even reminded myself on many things. It just makes me so happy to know that whenever I want to look back, I can. It also proves the importance to me, to keep on writing!

I remember this day so well because I was looking through some other pregnancy blogs, family blogs and I came across so many! I read for days on and off the odd post and then all of a sudden it came to me - I could do that. I love writing and it's not like I haven't blogged before.. It'd be fun.
I was pregnant with Noah and it was so lovely writing details of hospital appointments and doing the important weekly updates on bump down, it really grew into a passion for documenting the little things as well as the big things. It's all so important.

That first post was so difficult to write.. It's always that first one after you've got the profile set up; what do you write? How do you write it? What will make people read it? It's hard, but once it's out of the way, you feel you have reached a massive stepping stone! (well, until you only get 4 hits.. then you realise it's only you jumping for joy haha!)
But you know what, it was a stepping stone. Readers or no readers, it was a stepping stone of sharing our family and it was honestly the best thing I decided to do - My only regret is not starting it earlier or when I was pregnant with Freddie!

I'm so grateful to every single one of you that have stayed with us, or even just popped by - you're so lovely! It's hard to believe anyone would read what we have to say so, really you are simply fantastic for that reason. For all of you that have shared, commented or 'liked' any of our posts, thank you :)
I hope you stick with us all for the next following year! We've got quite a bit coming up - I can't wait to write them!
Lots of Love,
Imogene, Chris, Freddie and Noah X
