Spontaneous Picnic!

Leaving our house is always a massive rush. Everyone's usually moaning they can't find what they're looking for, or that they've still yet to do something. However organised we are, it seems to take a long time to get ready..

..Unless it's a spontaneous trip! In that case we can get everything ready and go with next to no hassle or fuss. It's perfect! I think this is mainly down to the excitement of leaving the house suddenly to do something out of the ordinary.

We went for a picnic.
I said to Chris "Shall we go on a picnic? I don't really fancy cooking as it's so hot" and that was it. We grabbed the cool box, filled it with crisps, sausage rolls, sandwiches, fruit, couscous, chicken bites and drinks - Chris whipped me up some Greek yogurt and berries instead of a sandwich - very good in aid of my diet! We left the house within 10 minutes.

I couldn't help but take a few snaps. Everyone was in such a good mood; Noah was giggling the whole way there and Freddie hopping along..
We arrived and placed our massive blanket down and settled into our surroundings. It was so lovely to be able to just relax and enjoy each others company because we rarely get time to do that often.

This is my new favourite photo of Noah & I  - Many thanks to Chris!

Our first set of family photo's..

Tongues out.. (purely coincidental)

I love this photo :)

Trying his hand at tummy time and pushing himself up - giving it a good go!

Tickles..
..and giggles!

Better than a sandwich any day!

It was such a lovely picnic. It would've been nicer if the sun had been out, and didn't rain as we were about to go home! But it was the perfect late afternoon trip with my gorgeous 3 boys :)
Chris and I have said we're going to have another one very soon - best keep it spontaneous though!
